As a small organisation we have a good but small library of academic texts and children’s books. However we maintain a library of key texts at the Islington Education Library at:

This library is approximately 10 minutes walk from  the Mitford Centre. In addition to book loans they offer a unique artefact collection which trainees are encouraged to borrow for their work in school. The staff have a high level of expertise and will offer guidance and support for trainees.

All trainees are given library cards for access to Roehampton University’s library services and online collections. The library card also gives access to studying in many other academic libraries in London and the south east.

Laptops are available for trainees use in the centre as well as a wide range of other ICT equipment some of which can be borrowed for use in schools.
