'12 months ago I began the LDBS SCITT course with only two weeks school experience to my name. One year on and I have my own class filled with unique and challenging children in the centre of London. The course has taught me everything I know about teaching.
The course provides a perfect mixture of hands on experience and invaluable theory. There is a great support network and you are prepared for teaching through a range of informative and engaging lessons.
It was a lot of work throughout the 9 months, but both rewarding and enjoyable.

'As with any PGCE course, you need to come with lots of energy! The course lecturers provide excellent guidance in all areas of teaching, from behaviour management to marking. You need to come armed with enthusiasm, an openness to learn and a willingness to take on any opportunity which comes your way. The open door policy and structure of the SCITT means that there is a close knit community feel and a huge support network.
I am so very glad and grateful that I found the LDBS PGCE and all the staff on the course. Good luck and enjoy!'

'After doing the LDBS SCITT Course last year I am now a teacher in the school I did my second placement in and loving it!
The course was a lot of hard work but so much fun at the same time. I found our classes and visits fascinating and very informative. There were a range of people from different backgrounds and areas of expertise teaching us which really brought the learning to life.
The small class sizes, rather than a large lecture hall made the learning feel very personalised, and also allowed all of us to feel very supported. We still have a great network of friends and fellow NQTs that we are often in touch with, even after finishing the course.'
